Golden Pomfret (also known as Pompano)  is a lean source of protein and it contains omega-3 fatty acids like EPA, DHA, Vitamin A, as well as iron.

It’s a fish that’s easy to eat whole, and it’s flesh is firm but finely flaked, with a sweet, mild flavour.
